Gravel and compacted sand
There are many levels of quality and cost when it comes to driveways. At the bottom end is simple gravel or compacted sand such as what is in the national parks. These options offer excellent drainage, are cheap yet they do require much upkeep to keep it looking good and they can be annoying with the noise and the pebbles/gravel in the tyres.
Block paving
In regards to block paving in clay or concrete there are many colours, textures and sizes, so there is something for every customer. The blocks can have silica sand in joints or now we able to supply paving that can have fine gravel in the joints to help with drainage.
Note how our attention to detail includes quality cutting around perimeter. We use silica sand in joints and seal the paving, which includes filling the joints to bind the sand together to stop weeds.
Block paving require maintenance every two to three years to keep them in top condition. Maintenance includes cleaning, topping up sand joints, resealing, cleaning of drainage channels or resetting damaged sets due to car damage or overload, such as skips.
Sandstone
Sandstone paving has many enthusiasts.
We also love to work with natural stone. This product is natural and often very thick, which makes it perfect for driveways. It is natural and ageless.
Tarmac
Tarmac is the latest driveway option we are offering, which can be very cost effective and has a good long life, is easy to manage and quick to install.
